I am privileged to be a Licensed Professional Counselor in Missouri. I have lived in Missouri all of my life and enjoy exploring new areas in my off time. I found my passion for counseling after finding freedom in learning about how my past affects my current and future experiences and relationships. I received my Masters in Counseling from Colorado Christian University and enjoy incorporating a biblical perspective in counseling when applicable.I have a background in child development and utilize this knowledge in helping with trauma therapy. I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and EMDR therapy (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). I have practiced EMDR since 2017 and became certified in 2023.

Outside the practice I enjoy reading, playing a good game, going on walks, attending sporting events with my family, going to concerts, and trying new restaurants.

I enjoy meeting with clients and helping them achieve freedom from struggles that have plagued them in their life.

I am passionate about joining people where they are, hearing their stories, and helping them process pain, confusion, disappointment, and loss. After being in the helping field for 15 years, I decided to pursue a master’s degree in counseling from Colorado Christian University in order to become a more effective helper, listener, and partner in the healing journey. I have my own story of healing from childhood trauma and have a deep compassion and respect for those who risk entrusting their trauma story to me.

I have training in Emotional Focused Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and EMDR therapy (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). I have experience with adolescents through adults, individuals, couples, and families.

Away from the office I can be found playing games with my family, cooking, reading, walking my dogs, singing, or daydreaming about the beach!
